Footballs
They are the obvious necessity needed to play football. They vary in sizes depending on age. Size (3) footballs are suitable for children aged between 4-7 yrs, size (4) footballs between 8-12 yrs and size (5) footballs for 12 upwards.
Cones
These are more needed for training purposes, whether it be to mark out a pitch, make goals, use as a make shift ladder for players to run in between/dribble between, to set up fitness exercises etc. You can usually get them on a spindle with various different colours.
Traffic Cones
These are used as multi-purpose aids that can act as goals, make shift ladders so run between/dribbling. You can get different sizes depending on what suits you and your needs
Running Ladders
These are used for training to build up foot speed/quick feet which is essential in football.
Football Pump
Again an obvious necessity needed in football. These are needed in order to make sure the footballs are correctly inflated.
Bibs
These are used for separating teams easily when having small sided games.
Medical Bag
Needed by every coach/manager to help prevent injury and keep players safe. Inside a medical bag you tend to have things such as; un-medicated dressing, bandages, emergency eyewash, moist wipe, resuscitation face shield, foil blanket, plasters, zinc oxide tape, surgical tape, spray bottle, scissors etc.
Training Hurdles
These are used in order to build up speed, agility and evasive action. All essential qualities a footballer needs.
Training Poles
These are essential for building up agility and fitness. They help when it comes to changing direction at a fast pace.
Speed Parachutes
Resistance training that is great for building up speed, fitness and muscular endurance. Being fast in football is an advantage but having muscular endurance allows you to maintain a good speed even while you are tired which is essential.
Passing Arc
These are used to help build up the passing accuracy of players which is crucial in football.
Mannequin Trolley’s
These are used for players practising free-kick taking. When you are in training you can’t always have team mates lining up in a wall for you to practice taking free-kicks so this is a great and affective alternative.
Football Tennis Net
These are used for building up control, positioning, technique and accuracy. You use the net just like they do in tennis and you play a bit of football tennis.
Folding Goals 4ft x 2ft
These are used for building up accuracy of both passing and shooting. They tend to be used in small sided possession games in training.
Corner Poles
These are mainly used for when you have a football match, they are needed to outline where each corner of the pitch is and where the half way lines on either side of the pitch are.
